I began my career as a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician and with over 15 years’ experience, I saw firsthand how weight gain can lead to chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, joint pain and various other conditions. While I could treat these conditions, I realized that I wanted to get to the root of the problem. That's what led me to a Dual Board Certification in Obesity Medicine.
My own experience with weight gain after major life changes showed me that traditional approaches often fail to account for the realities of a busy life. That's why I am so passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care through telemedicine. My goal is to help you successfully manage your weight and prevent the onset and progression of chronic disease, all without the added stress of an in-person office visit.
Although I am located in Houston, I provide weight loss solutions to patients residing in the entire state of Texas.

What to Expect During Your 60 Minute Virtual Visit:
Comprehensive Health History: We will conduct a thorough review of your medical history, including any past illnesses, surgeries, and family history. This helps me understand any underlying conditions that may be affecting your weight.
Medication & Allergy Review: We will review your current medications and allergies to ensure that any potential treatment plan is safe and appropriate for you.
In-Depth Weight History: We'll discuss your weight history, including what has and hasn't worked for you in the past. This provides crucial context for building a personalized and effective plan.
Our goal is to gather all the necessary information in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. This visit allows us to establish a strong foundation for your personalized treatment plan, which we will discuss at the conclusion of your visit
Your Follow Up Virtual Consultation: A Comprehensive & Compassionate Continuation
Your health journey is a continuous process and so is our support. During each 30 minute once monthly follow-up appointment, we will work together to assess your progress across the four pillars of weight management:
Nutrition: We'll review your eating habits, discuss any challenges, and make adjustments to your nutrition plan.
Exercise: We'll talk about your physical activity, celebrate your wins, and brainstorm ways to keep you moving.
Medication: We'll monitor the effectiveness and side effects of any medication, ensuring your treatment is safe and working for you.
Behavioral: We'll discuss your relationship with food, address any emotional or stress-related eating, and build strategies for long-term success.
These appointments are designed to keep you on track, provide accountability, and ensure that your personalized plan continues to evolve with you
